In short

Foldermind is designed to collect as little as possible. The site is for choosing and buying your package; everything about your life stays in the folder on your computer, and Foldermind never sees it.

Data controller

[To be completed: name, address and contact of the data controller.] Contact: foldermind.app@gmail.com.

What we don't collect

  • No account, no sign-up.
  • No cookies, no analytics or advertising tools, no tracking.
  • Nothing from your folder: the site never sees it.

What still goes through

  • Confirmation email. After payment the site reads from Stripe the email address used to pay and sends one email to it, with the link to download the folder, the guide and the order code. It is sent through Resend, the mail service Foldermind uses; the site does not keep the address. It is needed to deliver what you bought, that is to perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). Resend keeps a log of the messages sent for the time stated in its privacy notice and processes the data in the United States, with the safeguards the GDPR provides, such as standard contractual clauses.
  • Technical browsing data. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and the technical details of each request to run the service. It does so on our legitimate interest in running the site and protecting it from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR). Foldermind keeps no browsing logs of its own; Cloudflare keeps this data for as long as the service and its security require, under its own privacy notice, and may process it outside the European Union with the safeguards the GDPR provides, such as standard contractual clauses.
  • Your choice. The site receives the packages, extensions and language you chose, to work out the price and prepare the folder. When you pay, the choice and the amount travel with the order and stay on record at Stripe with the payment; the site does not store them anywhere else.
  • Email. If you write to us, we use your address only to reply and to handle what you ask, such as a refund or a new download link. The mailbox is on Gmail, a Google service. We keep messages for as long as it takes to close the request and to show how it was handled.
  • Payment. You pay on Stripe's secure page. The seller that collects the payment, applies VAT and sends the receipt is Stripe, through its Link service: your statement shows LINK.COM* Foldermind. Card, email and billing details are handled by Stripe under its own privacy notice; Foldermind never sees the card details. In the Stripe dashboard Foldermind sees the order data: amount, date, packages chosen, order code, date of the download and the email address of the buyer. We use them to deliver the folder, to handle refunds and support and to send a new link if it expires, that is to perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR); we keep them for as long as these purposes require and for the time the law requires for accounting records. The Stripe and Link privacy notices: stripe.com/privacy and link.com/privacy.
  • Download. After payment the site asks Stripe whether the order is paid and hands you the folder. To do so it uses the payment session code that appears in the page address.

The AI assistant

When you use the folder with Claude, what the assistant reads is processed by Anthropic on its servers, under the terms you accepted with them: with the Claude desktop app the work session runs in Anthropic's cloud even though the folder stays on your computer. Foldermind is not part of that relationship and does not receive that content. In Claude's privacy settings you can choose whether conversations are also used to improve the models.

With the Health and Professional packages the folder can hold health data or data about other people. The package instructions say so at the start and keep out what is not needed. For client data, under Anthropic's terms the data processing agreement (DPA) comes only with business plans, not with Pro.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a readable format and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-22 of the GDPR). Write to foldermind.app@gmail.com: we answer within one month. For the data Stripe processes as the seller you can also contact Stripe directly. If you believe the processing is not lawful, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of the country where you live.
